Dr. Joseph Burkes joined us via Skype to discuss his activities investigating UFO phenomena.
Bio:
Joseph Burkes MD a lifelong volunteer peace and social justice activist as well as a retired internal medicine physician having completed 30 years of service for the Kaiser Health Plan in 2008 I have been married to Yael Bentovim since 1975 and they live 250 miles north of San Francisco in a small university town called Arcata in Humboldt County. Dr. Burkes has volunteered as a UFO investigator since 1992 working with, the Center for the Study of ET Intelligence (CSETI), MUFON, the Peruvian network of contact workers known as Rahma and FREE, The Foundation for Research into ET and Extraordinary Experiences. For five years in the 1990s he volunteered as a Working Group Coordinator for Dr. Steven Greer’s Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind Initiative and has continued to promote the worldwide efforts of activists t he calls “The Contact Underground.” Dr. Burkes’ writings focus on the mechanisms of contact. These include the Virtual Experience Hypothesis that describes the role of illusion as a mechanism of contact during close encounters, as well as the intelligence-counterintelligence model for UFO investigations. Most importantly he believe that in order to establish full direct relations with the non-human intelligences associated with the flying saucer phenomenon, humanity needs to create a sustainable world peace based on social and environmental justice. This will require a spiritual transformation of humanity’s mass consciousness. In Dr. Burkes’ view, UFO intelligences are assisting humanity during this period of rapid change for Earth civilization.

David Adair joined us in person as our guest speaker. Mr. Adair spoke about his personal experiences as well as the space program that never was. He showed many slides of proposed space missions and gave us a demonstration of an actual space shuttle heat shield tile. The program was much enjoyed by a standing-room-only crowd!

“David Adair is an internationally recognized expert in space technology spinoff applications for industry and commercial use. At age 11 he built his first of hundreds of rockets which he designed and test flew. At 17 he won “The Most Outstanding in the Field of Engineering Sciences” from the U.S. Air Force. At 19 he designed and fabricated a state-of-the-art mechanical system for changing jet turbine engines for the U.S. Navy that set world record turnaround times that still stand today.
His work as an expert in space technology spinoff applications provided a springboard for Mr. Adair to become a world class presenter and keynote speaker, seminar and workshop leader. His presentations include little known facts about space industrialization, including space stations, defense systems, medical developments in space and space manufacturing, as well as off-planet technology, the controversy of life forms on other planets and the new direction of the space program.
Mr. Adair’s newly released documentary, “America’s Fall From Space” reveals intricate details and exclusive documentation about “the things he has seen” at Area 51. A graphic novel and screenplay based on his life story is currently in the works.”

Alexander Wendt, a Professor of Political Science at The Ohio State University spoke to the Cleveland Ufology Project. He is currently on the board of the UFODATA project and has released a new book called Quantum Mind and Social Science. His paper entitled Sovereignty and the UFO coauthored with Raymond Duvall appeared in the journal Political Theory in 2008

Aaron Kfir presented a program via a Skype video conference on Lunar and Space photographic anomalies. Mr. Kfir is a member of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. He served in the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom as a Photographer and also as an officer in the Metro Toronto Police Force. He has also worked as a Metallurgical Technician specializing in Aluminum Alloys with Chrysler. Mr. Kfir spoke about satellite imagery he has found that includes anomalies.
